I undertook four years of Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy training at the Metanoia Institute in West London, completing CTA status. I am a PTSTA and have a Certificate and Diploma in Supervision from the Metanoia Institute.
I have twenty five years of experience as a psychotherapist and counsellor, establishing my private practice in 2000. As part of my psychotherapeutic training, I worked within the Primary Care Trust as a Counsellor within a GP practice for two years.
I specialise in eating disorders and co-ran a group for people with eating disorders under the auspices of the EDA (Eating Disorder Association) at the Priory Hospital in Roehampton, working with anorexic and bulimic clients in particular.
I worked for two years at Roehampton University where I taught on the Counselling and Psychology degree course, teaching TA theory and it's clinical application.
I have also successfully completed coaching training with CoachingDevelopment.
I believe it is important to understand and work with underlying developmental processes and offer a therapeutic space in which you can understand the roots of problematic habits, feelings and relationships. I am committed to fostering an mutually respective atmosphere in which you feel supported and valued and in which you gain insights in order to gain a more satisfying way of being in the world.
